The Barefoot & Boozy

Hi there, it’s Brynn from The Domestic Dietitian! Today I’m sharing one of my favorite summer drink recipes, the Barefoot & Boozy cocktail. It’s perfect for when you want to feel like you’re sitting barefoot on the beach without a care in the world. Which let’s face it...when wouldn’t you want to imagine that? It’s light and refreshing and so simple to make....just 3 ingredients!

Ingredients

 - 2 oranges, juiced (or ½ cup orange juice)

 - 4 oz white rum

 - 8 oz coconut water with pineapple juice (found at Trader Joe’s) or you can substitute 4 oz coconut water and 4 oz pineapple juice

 - Ice

 - Optional: Fresh Pineapple for garnish

Step 1.0

If using fresh squeezed orange juice, juice both oranges. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, and add orange juice, rum, and pineapple flavored coconut water. Shake all ingredients together well.

Step 2.0

Fill a rocks glass with ice. Strain cocktail from shaker evenly into 2 glasses. Garnish with a fresh pineapple slice (if desired) and enjoy!
